When programming within the Tidyverse, we often use the pipe operator (%>%) that allows us to write efficient pipelines. To assign the output of that pipeline to some object, we often use the structure

data <- data %>% pipeline

%>% is defined in {magrittr} and imported by the Tidyverse. However, if we import {magrittr}, we also get access to %<>%. This is a useful pipe, as it summarises the above structure:

data %<>% pipeline

It’s a nice shorthand and looks cool. Happy coding!
